What can I learn on NexusEd?
Almost anything you’d learn with a tutor: school subjects from Class 1 to 12 (CBSE, ICSE and state boards), college and engineering subjects, competitive exams like JEE and NEET, and skills such as coding, data science, spoken English, music and dance. Tutors list what they teach and at which level, and we match you on that.
How does NexusEd match me with a tutor?
You tell us what you want to learn, your level or class, preferred mode (online or home tuition), city and budget. We only show tutors who teach your subjects at your level and can reach you, then rank them by fit, ratings and how quickly they reply. Every match lists the reasons it fits.
Is the demo class really free?
Requesting a demo is free. Many tutors offer a free first class — it’s shown on their profile and match card. Fees for regular classes are agreed directly between you and the tutor.
What happens if a tutor doesn’t reply?
Tutors have 48 hours to accept or decline a demo request. If they decline or don’t reply in time, we notify you by email and in the app and suggest the next best tutors who match.
Do you have home tutors for in-person classes?
Yes. Tutors mark whether they teach online, at the student’s home, or both. Choose home tuition and add your city, and we only show tutors who can reach you.
Can I practise for exams without signing up?
Yes. Every exam has free practice questions with explanations that you can try without an account. Sign up to save your progress, bookmark questions and get AI coaching.
What is the AI Tutor?
A study tutor built into NexusEd that knows your learning record — what you covered and found hard in class, your practice scores and how you like to learn. Ask in your own words, snap a photo or upload a PDF; choose full worked answers or hints first. It can quiz you on any answer, turn it into revision cards, and send a summary to your NexusEd tutor when you need a real person. Chats are saved, searchable and can be downloaded as PDF or Word.
Can parents find tutors for more than one child?
Yes. Add each child’s class and subjects and NexusEd matches tutors for each child separately, within your budget, and keeps you updated on every request.
Do tutors pay any commission?
No. NexusEd charges tutors zero commission. Tutors set their own rates and keep 100% of what students pay.
